Rishikesh is a city which is located in the state of Uttarakhand which is famously known as the “Yoga Capital of the World”. Explore Rishikesh and some of its most charming places when you arrive. The iconic Beatles Ashram, named after the famous English music band is not to be missed while here. The fun multifolds when the white water hits your raft and pumps up your adrenaline. Witness the most beautiful and serene prayer ritual ceremony in the evening, the “Ganga Aarti” which will leave you in a different state of tranquil altogether. Spend the night under the stars in the camps after a memorable day.
A three hour drive takes us to another beautiful city in the state of Uttarakhand, which is Mussoorie. Mussoorie is a famous hill station located in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan Range. Once you reach Mussoorie in the evening, head towards Mall Road, which is the city’s most famous place and the hub for the shopping and all the famous eateries.
The next day can be spent in visiting some of the most famous places in Mussoorie, Kempty falls being one of those places. It is a waterfall surrounded by high green mountains with a 40ft drop.You can either walk to the base of the waterfall or take a cable car for the same. A bridge is built near the base of the waterfall which provides the best view. Laal Tibba is a scenic viewpoint which offers a mesmerizing view of the Himalayan mountain peaks such as Badrinath, Kedarnath and Bandarpunch. Apart from the mountain views, the place also offers a glimpse into British style of architecture of the various hill houses.
Gun Hill is a famous viewpoint and also the second highest peak in Mussoorie. The place is accessible by a cable car and it offers a picturesque view of the Himalayan ranges and Doon valley.
George Everest House is located around 6kms from Mussoorie. It is a former home and laboratory of the former surveyor general of India, George everest. It was in his honor that Mt. Everest was named. Now, you can visit the nearby places and the peak is also named after him. The sunset here is really blissful and encaptures the attention of the tourists visiting.
The best time to visit Rishikesh/Mussoorie is from March to June which is the spring/summer months in the region. You can also plan for winter months which are from late October to early February.

At times even even certain activities are cancelled , the organization provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), JustWravel will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
